SGT takes part in the 2012 World Iron Ore Summit
SGT
has taken part in the 2012 World
Iron Ore Summit that took place
last November 15th to 17th in Hangzhou ,
China. With the theme of “Cooperation Chal-
lenge Development”, this year’s event focused
on how the iron ore industry will take shape
in 2013 considering new macro-economic
policies, pricing mechanism developments and
supply patterns in China and how these affect
worldwide trends.
Aside from the conference which hosted
talks on key iron ore discussions, MySteel
who organized the event, also held an exhibi-
tion for domestic steel mills, iron ore traders,
shipping agencies, financial institutions, in-
spection institutions and miners from China
and abroad to attract business opportunities
and to promote a profound communication
with the supply chain of iron ore industry.
With SGT being an important iron ore
trader in the region, the exhibition is an outlet
for the company to be able to gain an in-
depth analysis and forecasts of China steel and
